Community Guidelines

Bidstero only works because the people on it act in good faith. By using the platform you agree to these rules; violating them ends your account.

Be honest

Listing titles, descriptions, photos and prices must reflect the item you are actually selling. Stock photos are allowed only if marked as such; the item delivered must match the listing in condition and quantity.

No prohibited items

Weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, hate-speech merchandise, items violating EU sanctions, live animals, human remains, and stolen property are forbidden. We follow OLX/eBay precedent on edge cases.

Respect other users

Harassment, threats, doxxing, hate speech, or sexual content directed at any user results in immediate suspension and may be reported to authorities.

Real bids only

Shill bidding (placing fake bids on your own auction or having a friend do so) is fraud. Detected via device fingerprint + IP correlation; bans are permanent.

Pay on time, ship on time

Buyers pay within 48h of auction close. Sellers ship within 3 business days of payment receipt. Delays must be communicated; chronic delays affect trust score.

Use the platform messaging

Off-platform deals are unsafe and unsupported by our escrow / dispute system. Asking for a buyer's email/phone before payment is a red flag we monitor.

Authenticity for high-value items

Watches, fine jewelry, art, designer goods over €1,000 require photographic proof of provenance. Vendors with KYC + 50+ verified sales bypass this.

Report what's wrong

Use the report button on every listing/profile/message. Reviewed by moderation within 24h. False reports made in bad faith count against your trust score.

Consequences

Warning → 7-day suspension → 30-day suspension → permanent ban + payout freeze. Fraudulent transactions trigger immediate ban + chargeback.

Reporting: on any listing, vendor profile, or message, click the Report link, or write to support. Urgent (active fraud, threats): include "URGENT" in the subject and we respond within 4h business hours.
